As you would expect from the title of the game, in Blue Box you have to control a box and hop on the numbered platforms until the number that is engraved on them reaches zero. Each time you jump on a box, the number goes down by one. But be careful, because once the box reaches zero, it simply disappears from the level, and if you don't have anything to sit on, you go down as well with it. To advance to the next level in Blue Box you have to make sure that all the boxes with numbers on them reach zero. But this is easier said than done, because you can only jump from one box to another through a small hop, and so you always have to think twice before each move. There will certainly be times when you figure out that you jumped too many times in one spot and you will have to restart the level.
But that's the fun part of Blue Box, the planning of your movements and how you should hop from one spot to the next. Especially in the later levels, where you have to be much more careful with your routes, as there are a greater number of platforms that you have to navigate through. While this makes things more difficult, you can easily tell where you made a mistake and quickly try again and do better next time. Because it's a purely thinking game and there are no time limits or obstacles that you have to avoid, you can find that playing Blue Box is quite a relaxing experience. The colorful graphics and happy music certainly help with this, too! It's better to have a pleasant background to look at, especially if your task is to focus intensely on the screen in front of you, and in Blue Box a calming summer or spring background is depicted.
