Get the Word! is a fun copy of the now-legendary Wordle game, that took the world by storm with its easy to learn rules, social elements (all players trying to guess the same word), as well as giving you only limited tries to guess the word. In Get the Word! you have to guess a four-letter word, in only six tries. You do this by writing four-letter words in the blank rows. Of course, the most fortunate situation is when you manage to guess the right word from your first try, but this rarely happens. What usually occurs is that, after each word you write, you find out which letters appear in the word you are looking for. If the blank tile turns green, then that means that the word not only contains this letter, but that the letter is in the same position. If the tile turns yellow, then that means that the letter is in the word you are searching for, but it's in a different spot. After each row, the letters from the bottom of the screen will turn to gray if they are not in the word you are searching for. Having a limited number of tries turns the whole experience into a pretty tense one, especially as you reach the final rows.
While the original Wordle game had only one word per day, and players from all around the world were trying to guess that same word, in Get the Word! you have multiple words that you can try to guess, with that limit being removed.
