Jewel Block

The board here is a fixed 10x10 grid, and gem-shaped pieces of varying sizes need to be arranged so a complete line forms across it, edge to edge. It's closer to a spatial fitting puzzle than a matching game — there's no clock, and the challenge comes from committing to a placement before you can see how the next few pieces will complicate it. Clearing a line frees up space, but a badly placed piece can just as easily box you in.
